Morning guys and girls!

Sat in my garden, surrounded by ominous looking broken glass and nursing a pretty savage hangover, I thought I'd stop by and let you know what's happening in the fair city of Little London.

My oh my things are busy right now, if you get lost just let me know and I'll slow down.

The album is all written now, that's it, no more parts to be added or lyrics to be written and I gotta admit, these are the best songs I've ever written. We haven't finalised which ones will make the album yet but we're looking to cut it to 11 songs, that's going to be tough but it's gotta be done. We'll probably end up giving the extra ones to you for signing up for the fan club or something.

Aren't we good to you?

Over the course of the album the guys are going to take you on a rollercoaster ride through the underbelly of city living, shattered dreams, broken glass and bad hangovers. Oh yes indeed, this is the album we were born to make.

We're in the rehearsal stage now, getting everything ready to record. It's fun but hard work where you're trying to pre empt how best to record certain parts. Good job The Kid is a bit of a wizard at this sort of thing.

The studio is booked and we're heading in to record drums and bass over the first two days with the wonderfully gifted Rich Tamblyn (jelly maid records) who really is the man for getting THAT sound. It's great to be working with him again.

Producing the album is Julian Moore, an all round legend who is going to help make this album the monsterwork it needs to be.

That's enough about that for now, we'll be writing blogs all through the recording sessions and filming bits to give you the inside scoop on life in the studio and making an album the Little London way.

How you enjoying the new site, pretty swanky eh? Yeah I think so, make sure you sign up and things like that, could be a lot of bonuses in it for you but my lips are sealed...

Stay tuned for a HUGE announcement over the next few days, seriously, if this gets confirmed, it's gonna be amazing.

We're in talks with the wonderful people at Georgia Wonder Records about what to do with our album when it's done, how they can help and how we can help ourselves. It's getting everyone excited.

Our good friend Fuller is flying out to Tokyo on Wednesday, hopefully he shall be recording random drunken interviews with people and documenting his time out there. We'll post them up on here, as they will be hilarious and well, Fuller's a bit of a celebrity in Little London.

Well that's all my hangover is going to let me disclose right now, i'm pretty much hanging out of my ass so I think I'll go collapse now.

Stay sexy...

Here are a couple of clips from a rehersal session from the new album. This is just a few seconds of the few minutes that we were rehearsing before deciding it was too nice a day to be stuck indoors being mentally damaged by a metronome. Anyway, here are the clips:

Hello again,

I'm pleased to say that the recording of the album is coming out of its demo phase. The studio dates have been booked, and we can't wait to get in there and lay down our rock and roll. We're going to be working our arses off and laying down the album in 4 days. Old Skool.

We also have a pre-album single in the pipeline, to get you all in the mood. More news of that will be up here soon, and the track will be available to buy from out online shop as soon as it's done.

If that wasn't enough, we're also playing the Edge of the Wedge on the 17th of June with Grott Party and Adebisi Shank.

See you all there

D

Ok, so the album is coming along perfectly.

The delay in getting around to recording is purely due to having a creative period that have given birth to lots of very good songs.

You only get one shot at a debut album and we wanna make sure we pick the correct songs for your aural pleasure.

The Demo's are coming along really well, some of them sound better than most band's final recordings but that's mainly due to having finally nailed the sound we need, it makes things easier.

If we get enough interest we might post them up.

Anyhow, back to work...

Contrary to popular belief, we have not jetted off to some exotic island in the sun to partake in the usual sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll that is the usual for a band like ours. We are currently hard at work fine tuning our songs to get them so good you'll shit yourself twice... ...at least

We're planning to hit the studio at the end of the year to record the first Little London album. This will be a full length, 10 track masterpiece as we're working very hard now to get the tracks as close to perfection as they could possibly be. There'll be moments of epic grandure mixed in with filthy rock 'n' roll, layers of lush guitars and so many vocal harmonies you won't know where they're coming from. We're very pleased at how the tracks are shaping up, and we're sure you will be too.

So your Christmas will come late this year (or next year's will be damn early, which ever way you want to do it) because the Little London album will be out. We're also planning singles, videos, world domination, the usual ;) so stay tuned...
